Watching my son take lessons, I would often see more in the teachings than just the physical part. I would think to myself... "I'd like to try that, I think I can do that..." and then finally, "... why not take TaeKwonDo?" It was my 3rd visit to the evening classes before I worked up the nerve to join a class, and now I can't see a future without it. It has become a major part of my life and my son's life, and it is something we are able to share together. Starting TaeKwonDo after the age of 40, I may not be as fast or as flexible as the younger students, but with age comes the wisdom to slow down and see the lessons in every class and to help teach those lessons. TaeKwonDo has been a journey of self discovery of the mind and body working as one and of the endless possibilities that creates...
