I started taking taekwondo in 1991. I began teaching taekwondo when I was a green belt. I have been teaching and training ever since. My longevity in the sport is due to my love for taekwondo, which I approach as an art.
A versatile pastime, taekwondo began as an activity I could share with my family and friends. I enjoy it for physical fitness, but I have also found new ways to relate to it at each phase of my life. It functions on a social and educational level and as a discipline and means of self-defense.
Taekwondo has been a richly rewarding experience and has given me an outlet to relate to others in a positive way. My participation in this school began with earning belts, but it has become an opportunity for me to give back to others what I have gained from the school.
"In any moment of decision the best thing you can do is the right thing, the next best thing you can do is the wrong thing; and the worst thing you can do is nothing." - Theodore Roosevelt
