Personal Statement: I began Taekwondo at age 11 with a friend, and it quickly became an integral part of my life. I absorbed as much Taekwondo as possible by performing in demonstrations, learning weapons, and competing in tournaments. While I maintain that sparring is the best workout in the world, the goal-setting, determination, and respect I’ve learned in Taekwondo means that its benefits extend well beyond physical fitness. I began teaching at Kim’s School of Taekwondo in August 2014, and am honored to be able to teach and learn in a dedicated and supportive community.
